Terms of use coorda.me & coorda tools

These terms of use apply to the coorda account on coorda.me and to coorda tools (coorda.me/tools). How we handle your data is described in the privacy policy.

1. Provider

2. What coorda tools are

coorda tools are everyday tools in the browser: cabinets with drawers for appointments, tasks, notes, lists, recipes, journeys, contracts and more, plus a calculator, converter, weather, clock, compass, translator and coorda AI. They run on phone and computer, without an app from a store.

The scope depends on the plan you choose (section 5). We keep developing the tools and may add, change or replace features as long as the core of your plan is preserved.

3. Beta phase

coorda is in its beta phase until 31 December 2026. Errors are possible. Please report them via “Report an error” in the app or by e-mail – this makes the services better for everyone.

During the beta phase all plans are free, including one published website with cbox. Beta limits apply: 20 questions to coorda AI per day, 1 GB of storage and 1 published cbox website. Special services such as additional languages and further websites in cbox, ad banners or custom solutions via coorda.com are not included.

At least 30 days before the beta phase ends we remind you in “My coorda” and by e-mail. Nothing renews automatically, and during the beta phase we ask for no payment details. As a thank-you, accounts from the beta phase then receive 3 months of coorda Plus.

4. Test mode and coorda account

Without an account you can test almost all tools for 14 days. Your entries stay on this device only; afterwards they remain readable for 30 days and are then deleted from the device. If you clear the browser data, they are gone at once. If you sign up, we transfer your entries to your account.

You can open a coorda account from the age of 16. It applies to coorda tools and all other coorda services. Please give an e-mail address that belongs to you and confirm it within 3 days; without confirmation, sharing and new entries are paused after that.

An account belongs to one person. Keep your password secret and tell us if someone else might have access.

Only your device knows the key to the encrypted cabinet. If you forget the password of this cabinet, we cannot recover the data in it either.

5. Plans and prices

All prices are net, plus the VAT of your country. The “Best” level of coorda AI counts double. There is no paid priority in directories: the order depends only on relevance and distance. Municipalities and public institutions are listed in the directories free of charge; for other services the normal plans apply.

The prices you see before purchase apply. Payment is always by invoice, by bank transfer or through a European payment service provider; we store no card or account details. Paid plans run for one month or one year and renew for the same period unless you cancel beforehand. You can cancel at any time in “My coorda”; the plan then runs until the end of the paid period. We remind you by e-mail before every renewal.

We announce price changes at least 30 days in advance. They only apply from the next renewal; until then you can cancel.

Introductory offers such as “1 month of coorda Plus as a gift” end by themselves. After that, the free account applies again. We charge nothing unless you choose a paid plan yourself.

If a plan changes or ends, your entries are kept. Anything beyond the new plan can still be read and exported.

6. Right of withdrawal

As a consumer you can withdraw from a paid plan within 14 days of purchase without giving reasons. An e-mail to coorda.eu@pm.me or the button in “My coorda” is enough. We refund the full amount within 14 days using the same means of payment.

7. Your content

What you enter and upload belongs to you. You only allow us to store it, display it on your devices, translate it at your request and share it with the people you choose yourself. We do not use your content for advertising and do not sell it.

You are responsible for your content. Only upload what you are allowed to use, for example photos you hold the rights to.

You can export your data at any time. Please also back up important data yourself – especially during the beta phase.

8. Sharing

You can share every drawer with other people. They only see this drawer and, depending on the permission, can read or write in it. You decide whom you invite and can end a share at any time. People who write in a shared drawer are responsible for what they enter.

9. Advertising

In test mode, in the free account and in coorda Plus we show ad banners from coorda partners and providers from the region. They are chosen by location, never by your entries, without tracking, never in the encrypted cabinet and never as pop-ups. From Basic, coorda tools, co-chat and My coorda are ad-free; directories such as coorda.guide show banners for everyone.

10. What is not allowed

• using coorda tools for unlawful content or purposes, such as harassment, fraud, hate speech or content that infringes the rights of others;
• spreading malware or attacking the security of the services;
• querying the services automatically, overloading them or circumventing limits such as the number of AI questions;
• using other people’s accounts or pretending to be someone else;
• using shared drawers for advertising or mass messages to people who do not want them.

If an account breaches these rules, we may block content and suspend the account temporarily or, for serious breaches, permanently. Except in urgent cases, we inform you beforehand and give you the chance to respond.

11. coorda AI, translator, weather and location

Answers from coorda AI and translations are generated automatically and may contain errors. They do not replace advice from a professional, for example on health, legal or money matters. Please check important information yourself.

Weather data and severe weather warnings come from weather services (MET Norway, Météo-France). They may be delayed or inaccurate. In case of danger, the warnings of the authorities always apply. Location, altitude and address are approximate values and are not intended for navigation or emergencies.

12. Availability

We do our best to keep coorda tools available at all times. Maintenance, outages at service providers or force majeure may interrupt them temporarily. We announce planned maintenance in advance where possible.

If we discontinue a tool or coorda tools as a whole, we inform you at least 60 days in advance so that you can export your data. For the period of a paid plan that can no longer be used, we refund the amount pro rata.

13. Liability

We are liable without limitation for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence and for injury to life, body and health. In cases of slight negligence we are only liable for breach of essential obligations and only for foreseeable, typical damage. The statutory rights of consumers, in particular the legal guarantee for digital content and services, remain unaffected.

14. Cancellation and deletion of the account

You can close your account at any time in “My coorda”. Export beforehand what you want to keep. We delete the account and your entries within 30 days, as described in the privacy policy. If you close an account with a paid plan, we do not refund the current year, except under the right of withdrawal.

We may terminate a free account with 30 days’ notice and a paid account at the end of its term. In the event of serious breaches of section 10 we may terminate immediately. A free account that has not been used for two years may be closed after an e-mail reminder and a 30-day period.

15. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms materially, we inform you at least 30 days in advance in “My coorda” and by e-mail. If you do not agree, you can cancel until then; for the unused period of a paid plan we refund the amount pro rata.

16. Applicable law and dispute resolution

French law applies. If you live in another country as a consumer, the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country remain unaffected, and you can also take legal action there.
